Special Events
Birthday Parties
Let us help you celebrate your child’s special day and we’ll also take the stress out of the planning! Our parties take place right in our climate-controlled dojang and include everything to make a most memorable event for your child.
Our staff will present an introduction to taekwondo, followed by entertaining, exciting team games that all guests will be eager to join. The fun and excitement are followed by pizza and cake time.
We can provide the food, drinks and cake or families can opt to bring their own. Either way, our staff will take care of all the festivities and cleanup, while parents enjoy a stress-free party.
Birthday parties are available on Saturdays at 1:15pm or 3:15pm (later time available only if earlier time is already reserved).
The Annual Hong-Ik Tournament
As one of the founding members of the U.S. Hong-Ik Taekwondo Association (USHTA), our school always participates in the annual USHTA Taekwondo Championships. This tournament attracts hundreds of taekwondo competitors from schools all over the tri-state area. We prepare our students to compete in the Individual Forms, Group Forms, Sparring and Breaking events, in addition to the Obstacle Course event, which is exclusive to the USHTA championship tournament.
Students may enter additional tournaments and request private tournament training upon request.
Summer / Winter Camp
During our Summer and Winter Camp weeks, campers enjoy martial arts games and drills that encourage individual growth as well as cooperative spirit. Each day is filled with special activities and plenty of action and laughter to make the season a fun time to remember.
Summer Camp is offered during the months of July and August and offers a greater range of activities given the inviting weather.
Winter Camp is offered during the week of the December holiday break of the school year.
Summer and Winter Camp are for students and non-students, ages 4 and up. Discounts available for multiple family member enrollments. Enrollment can be single day to full week and multiple weeks.
Buddy Week
Buddy Week allows our students to share their love for taekwondo! Students are encouraged to invite buddies to beginner class, where they can join them for twice the fun and kicks! Students and their buddies receive special rewards for participating.
Buddy Week Invitation Cards are distributed in class and can be emailed as well.
Parents' Night Out & Moonlight Training
Parents' Night Out and Moonlight Training offer a greater opportunity for children to develop their independence by enjoying several hours of taekwondo family, friends and fun, while their own families enjoy some time off. As always, the evenings provide a growing experience, where children will develop confidence, cooperation and camaraderie with their peers.
Parents' Night Out and Moonlight Training are typically offered in February and October, respectively.
